Our group is special to us because we love and care for each other. There is a lot of trust and we give time to one another, and support in time of need.
As we arrive at our home group we are welcomed with tea/coffee. Someone in our group starts our evening with prayer, then we do our study, usually a different person each fortnight leads the group. We discuss the study and share with each other. We have gone through the book "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren.
We have been studying the book of Ruth from the Old Testament. We use a study guide which is part of a general series called 'Cover to Cover'.
We then have a time of prayer and usually a chat before going home.
We are only a small group with eleven in total. We feel we can be more open with other than in a large group. We share our innermost feelings and can call each other any time, helping each other as we share God's Word and develop as Christians.
