Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics provides diagnostics machines for the global healthcare industries. The company specialises in two main areas. Transfusion medicine providing machines to screen blood against diseases e.g. hepatitis & Aids, as well as blood typing machines. They also provide machines to clinical laboratories for drug tests and immunoassay testing.
Responsibilities & Achievements:
- Analyst Programmer
- Designed and delivered a Diagnostic tool from marketing requirements that:
- Encrypts & emails OSP log files from the customer laboratory to Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics
- Examines OSP Log files and enters relevant values to a central Database
- Produces HTML reports back to the customer showing usage and performance statistics
- Alerts system administrator to any faults with the OSP machines.
- Managed project for the full system life cycle in a client-facing role.
- Conducted technical and client presentations for the end product.
- Used Documentum for filing and maintaining project documents
