Money & Finances
The Governors' charging policy states that children whose families are on income support will receive a 50% subsidy towards the cost of any education visits planned as part of the curriculum within school time. Proof of Income Support must be shown to the secretary at the time of the visit. This Policy is available at school for parents to see.
Money should not be brought into school unless it is in a named purse and for school purposes e.g. Tuck Shop, school trips, or stationery shop etc. Bus fares are an exception. Swapping or buying and selling of items between children in the school is not permitted.
The school voluntary fund helps to keep down the costs of educational visits and to pay for many educational resources.
A voluntary donation of £24.00 per child (£14.00 if on Income Support) is requested at the beginning of your child/children's first term at this school. This equates to £1.00 per term over the four years your child / children are at this school.
